VRK blocks ads, trackers and fingerprinting before they load. It has Tor tabs, a built-in VPN, a password manager with passkeys, and a whole desktop inside it. Nothing you do is sent anywhere.
Everything a private
browser should do.
Gone before it loads.
uBlock Origin-grade filter lists, a 300,000-domain tracker and telemetry list, cookie banners rejected for you, and tracking links skipped. It scores 98% on the AdBlock Tester, 100% with Aggressive mode.
Tor tabs
One click opens a tab that goes through the Tor network, kept apart from everything else. Onion sites work.
Built-in VPN
Bring any WireGuard config. A kill switch holds your traffic if the tunnel drops, so nothing leaks.
A face in the crowd
Canvas, audio and hardware fingerprints are randomized per site, so sites can't recognize you across the web.
Passkeys & 2FA
Encrypted password manager with passkeys, 2FA codes, breach alerts and strong-password suggestions.
Make it look like you.
A full theme editor: gradients, image and video backgrounds, animated effects, glass toolbars. Chrome, Edge and Firefox extensions. Import everything from your old browser in one click.
A whole desktop.
Inside your browser.
Press ⌥⌘O and VRK becomes a full-screen desktop running on your own hardware: Files, Terminal,
Notes, a code editor, System Monitor, Calendar, and your Mac, Windows or Linux apps, with VRK as its browser.

Honest answers.
Why a command instead of a download on Mac?
Downloaded Mac apps need a paid Apple certificate, or macOS calls them "damaged". The command downloads VRK, clears that flag and signs it for your Mac, so it just opens. You can read the script first: vrkweb.web.app/install.sh.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC".
That's SmartScreen warning about any app without a paid code-signing certificate. Click More info → Run anyway, or use the PowerShell command, which doesn't trigger it.
What do I need?
A Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer), Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). About 600 MB of space. Linux is coming soon.
Is Tor in VRK as safe as Tor Browser?
No. Tor tabs hide your address from sites and are great for everyday privacy, but if your safety depends on anonymity, use Tor Browser.
